Ingredients

  • 10 flakey layer biscuits (Hungry Jack or similar)
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Pull apart the biscuits and flatten each one.
  2. Place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  3. Fold the biscuit over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  4. Mix 1/4 cup cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar together in a shallow dish.
  5. Roll each pie in the cinnamon and sugar mixture until coated.
  6. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  7. Add 1 cup of sugar and the milk to the melted butter, stirring until combined.
  8. Place the coated pies in a glass baking pan.
  9. Pour the butter, sugar, and milk mixture over the pies.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
