Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans
  • 2 to 3 onions, sliced
  • 12 slices bacon, fried until limp (get most of the fat out)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. catsup

Instructions

  1. Place a layer of sliced onions in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole.
  2. Add 1 can of beans and arrange 4 slices of bacon on top. Spread about 1/4-inch layer of catsup over the bacon.
  3. Place a second layer of onions on top and form another layer with the other can of beans, 4 slices of bacon and catsup. Top with a layer of bacon, onions and catsup. Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.
