Baked Brie Cheese With Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Mango chutney
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Jalepeno pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c. Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 x 12"x 12" sheet puff pastry, thawed if frzn
  • 1 x 6-inch wheel Brie cheese
  • 1 x Egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine chutney, pepper, and cilantro.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Cover and chill till ready to use.
  5. On a clean, dry work surface, lay out sheet of puff pastry.
  6. Place Brie in the center of pastry and bring edges of the pastry to the center of cheese, covering cheese completely.
  7. Trim off any excess pastry and seal seams of pastry with beaten egg.
  8. Place wrapped cheese, seam side down, on a lightly greased cookie sheet and brush entire pastry with egg.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 min, or possibly till crust is golden.
  10. Remove from oven and allow cheese to stand for 10 min before serving.
  11. Serve with jalapeno chutney.
