Ingredients

  • 2 c. cornmeal
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 stick butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over cornmeal and stir well.
  2. Add butter, sugar, salt, milk, and eggs to the mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool before cutting and serving.
