Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage, shredded
  • 4 red peppers, sliced thin
  • 5 onions, sliced
  • 4 green peppers, sliced thin
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed

Instructions

  1. Mix the first 4 ingredients; let stand in salt water overnight.
  2. In morning, drain well.
  3. Bring remaining ingredients (syrup) to boil; drop in vegetables.
  4. Simmer 15 minutes, then can.
