Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 12 ounces frozen orange juice
  • 46 ounces pineapple-grapefruit juice
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • ginger ale or 7-Up

Instructions

  1. Heat water and sugar in a large saucepan until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add frozen orange juice, pineapple-grapefruit juice, and mashed bananas to the saucepan.
  3. Bring mixture to a boil, then remove from heat and let it cool.
  4. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until semi-frozen.
  5. Thaw the mixture for 1 1/2 to 2 hours before serving.
  6. In a blender, mix 1 part Daffodil mixture with 1 part ginger ale until well combined.
  7. Serve as a frozen slush or pour over ice.
