Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 chicken, cut up

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a mixture of dry sherry, honey, soy sauce, dry mustard, ground ginger, and paprika, preferably in a Ziploc bag, turning occasionally.
  2. Microwave the marinated chicken on High for 18 minutes.
  3. Immediately transfer the chicken to the barbecue and cook for about 10 minutes longer, basting with the marinade.
  4. Discard any remaining marinade.
