Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sherry or white wine
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Blend together sherry or white wine, crushed garlic, grated ginger, sugar, soy sauce, and red food coloring; pour over tenderloin.
  2. Marinate overnight in refrigerator or for 3 hours at room temperature.
  3. Roast on a rack at 375°F for 1 hour or until done.
  4. Baste with marinade at least 2 times during cooking.
  5. Slice thinly before serving.
  6. Serve with toasted sesame seeds, hot mustard, and ketchup.
