Ingredients

  • 1 broiler-fryer chicken (2 1/2 to 3 lb.), cut into serving pieces
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk flavored honey
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh ground pepper, if desired

Instructions

  1. In a shallow baking pan, melt the butter.
  2. Stir in honey, mustard, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and ground pepper if desired.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the pan and coat on all sides.
  4. Bake, skin side down, at 350°F for 35 minutes.
  5. Turn the chicken pieces over.
  6. Baste the chicken with the sauce.
  7. Continue baking until the chicken is tender, about 15 minutes.
