Ingredients

  • 1 quart fruit
  • 3/4 quart sugar

Instructions

  1. Stir the fruit and sugar well while cold.
  2. Cook in a heavy pot briskly, stirring with a wooden spoon.
  3. When the juice clarifies and webs on a silver fork, remove from heat.
  4. Let the mixture stand for 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Bottle the preserves and seal with paraffin.
