Ingredients

  • bacon
  • 1 can sauerkraut, drained
  • pork chops
  • potatoes
  • onions
  • 1 can tomato wedges

Instructions

  1. Line the bottom of a baking dish with bacon slices.
  2. Drain the sauerkraut and spread it over the bacon in the dish.
  3. Lay the boneless pork chops over the sauerkraut.
  4. Peel and slice the potatoes and layer them over the pork chops.
  5. Slice the onions into rings and distribute over the potatoes.
  6. Pour the can of tomato wedges (with juice) on top of the casserole.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake at 350°F for at least 2 hours. Cover with foil during the first hour if desired.
