Ingredients

  • 1 lb. kielbasi
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 6 small onions, halved
  • 4 small potatoes, quartered
  • 3 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 3/4 cup vegetable juice cocktail
  • 2 cans (16 oz.) pork and beans
  • 1 lb. flounder

Instructions

  1. Bring sausage and water to a boil over medium heat in a 6-quart saucepan.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until sausage is brown.
  3. Remove sausage and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, cook onions, potatoes, carrots, and green pepper until all are browned, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in vegetable juice cocktail and sausage; reduce heat to low.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Stir in pork and beans until heated through.
