Beans N Weiner Biscuit Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound wieners
  • 16 ounce. can pork-n-beans
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. minced onions (optional)
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 7 1/2 ounce. can refrigerated biscuits
  • 4 ounce. pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In medium saucepan combine 1 lb.
  3. sliced wieners, 1 (16 oz) can pork-n-beans, 1/2 c. ketchup, 1/2 c. minced onion (optional) and 3 Tbsp.
  4. brown sugar.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 min.
  6. Spoon warm bean mix into ungreased 8 or possibly 9 inch square pan.
  7. Separate 1 can biscuit dough into 10 biscuits; arrange over bean mix.
  8. Sprinkle with 1 c. (4 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese.
  9. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 min or possibly till biscuits are golden and no longer doughy.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
