Beef Ala Stroganoff

Instructions
- Trim all fat and gristle from steak.
- Cut meat into small cubes.
- Drain mushrooms, saving broth.
- Chop into small pieces. To cook, heat 2 tablespoons butter or drippings in large frying pan.
- When hot, add cut up beef.
- Cover.
- Brown and cook slowly for 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Add mushrooms to beef and cook 10 minutes longer.
- Push mixture to one side of pan; add sour cream, stirring.
- Add meat mixture and mix well.
- Add salt and paprika to taste.
- Cover and simmer slowly for 10 minutes.
- Serve on top of toast, torn into bits.
