Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 1 can vegetable beef soup (10 3/4 oz.)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton sour cream with chives

Instructions

  1. Crumble ground beef into a skillet and cook until it loses its red color.
  2. Add chopped onions during the last few minutes of cooking. Drain off grease.
  3. Add parsley flakes, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and vegetable beef soup to the skillet. Mix well.
  4. Combine milk and cream of mushroom soup in a bowl, stirring until smooth.
  5. Blend the mushroom mixture into the meat mixture in the skillet.
  6. Bring to a boiling point, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
  7. Stir in sour cream into the meat mixture.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a 3-quart casserole dish.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of topping over the hot meat mixture.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F for about 15 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
