Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 large potato, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. comino (cumin)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. water

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Drain off grease. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil.
  3. Turn down heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
  4. Serve with Mexicali corn and warm tortillas.
