Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 (16 oz.) can baked beans
  • 1 can flaky biscuits
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°.
  2. In skillet, brown ground chuck and onion; drain.
  3. Stir in barbecue sauce, brown sugar and beans; heat until bubbly.
  4. Pour into 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  5. Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits; cut each in half.
  6. Place biscuits cut side down over hot meat mixture.
  7. Sprinkle cheese over biscuits.
  8. Bake at 375° for 22 to 27 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Makes 6 servings.
