Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. chuck or stew beef
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 2 cans golden mushroom soup
  • garlic powder
  • 3/4 cup dry sherry

Instructions

  1. Put meat in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  2. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the mushroom soups, dry onion soup mix, and sherry.
  4. Pour the mixture over the meat and stir to combine.
  5. Cover the casserole dish and bake at 325°F for 2 hours.
  6. Serve over noodles.
