Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 3 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick salt
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard seed or dry mustard
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together with hands and shape into 2 rolls. Wrap tightly with foil and refrigerate for 2 days.
  2. Place the foil-wrapped rolls in a shallow pan. Prick holes in the top of the foil to let steam escape.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes at 325°F (163°C).
  4. Eat either hot or cold. May be frozen.
