Beef Steak(Philippine Style)

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. boneless beef, sliced 1/4-inch thick (use sirloin top or bottom)
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. sliced onion rings
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, lemon juice and pepper and pour over beef slices; mix well.
  2. Marinate several hours.
  3. Saut onion in hot oil until transparent.
  4. Transfer to platter.
  5. Pan-fry beef slices a few at a time until brown on both sides.
  6. Serve hot with sauted onion.
