- Cream sugar and Crisco.
- Stir in eggs.
- In another bowl, sift flour, spices, soda and salt.
- Add flour and beer alternately to sugar mixture, starting and ending with flour.
- Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan.
- Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until done.
