- Melt butter and add brown sugars and dates. Cook for 6 minutes, stirring constantly, at medium heat. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies and pecans. After cooling briefly and still quite warm, roll into golf ball-sized balls and place in powdered sugar to coat well. Let stand to set.
