Ingredients

  • -1/2 pound extra lean ground chicken
  • -1/2 pound ground sirloin or extra lean ground beef
  • -1 small valdalia onion
  • -4 green onions
  • -4 clove of garlic
  • -1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • -1 tbs ground cumin spice
  • -1 tsp ground coriander powder
  • -1 tbs seasoning salt
  • -1/4 tsp paprika
  • -1/4 tsp finely ground black pepper
  • -2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Allow to sit for as long as time allows (in this case ten minutes).
  3. Turn BBQ onto med-high.
  4. Form patties in the palm of your hand that resemble a football shape.
  5. Cook on one side for about 8 minutes, flip over and cook the same on other side.
  6. Cut into one patty to ensure meat inside is fully cooked prior to serving.
