Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon peel, finely grated
  • 1 1/2 c. very hot water
  • 1 1/2 c. lemon juice (4 large or 8 medium lemons)
  • 3 qt. cold water or club soda

Instructions

  1. In 1-quart jar with tight fitting lid, shake sugar, lemon peel and hot water until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add lemon juice. Refrigerate.
