Ingredients

  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Combine 2 cups of flour, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add hot water, vegetable oil, honey, and egg; beat until smooth.
  3. Beat in remaining flour by hand until a soft dough forms.
  4. Cover and let stand until double in size (about 30 minutes).
  5. Fill greased muffin pan half full with dough and let rise until double in bulk (about 30 minutes).
  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes.
