Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt in bowl; cut in butter and add milk.
- Press mixture into buttered 10-inch pan.
- Spread with raspberry jam almost to edge of pan.
- Mix coconut, sugar, egg, butter and vanilla thoroughly and press into cake.
- Bake in moderate oven until lightly browned.
- Cut into squares while still warm to serve.
