Big Bean Bake
Ingredients
- 5 -6 slices bacon ⓘ
- 2 lbs lean ground beef ⓘ
- 1 large onion, chopped ⓘ
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped ⓘ
- 1 cup ketchup ⓘ
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt ⓘ
- 4 teaspoons red wine vinegar ⓘ
- 2 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained & rinsed ⓘ
- 2 (15 ounce) cans butter beans, drained & rinsed ⓘ
- 2 (15 ounce) cans pork & beans ⓘ
Instructions
- Fry bacon, drain and set aside.
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat.
- Combine ketchup, brown sugar, salt and vinegar, and add to the beef mixture.
- Add the beans and combine thoroughly in an oven proof baking dish.
- Top with crumbled bacon.
- Bake covered at 350 deg for 45 minutes.
