Big Daddy Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground round
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked diced potatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked small elbow macaroni
  • 2 c. grated sharp cheese
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz.) can whole tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Saute ground round and onion together until meat is done; season to taste.
  2. Don't overcook potatoes and macaroni; season to taste.
  3. Layer in a pan, starting with a layer of potatoes, topped with a layer of meat, then a layer of cheese.
  4. Layer macaroni, meat and cheese.
  5. Top with tomatoes, crushing and squeezing juice evenly on top.
  6. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with a tossed salad and your favorite bread.
