Bing Cherry Ring

A refreshing cherry ring mold with tangy gelatin, sweet cherries, and crunchy pecans, perfect for festive gatherings or elegant appetizers, complemented by a touch of wine flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can Bing cherries
  • 2 pkg. orange gelatin
  • 1 c. pecan meats
  • 1 c. Muscatel wine

Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries and add enough water to the juice to make 2 3/4 cups.
  2. Bring the juice to a boil and pour over the gelatin. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Cool the juice and gelatin mixture, then add the Muscatel wine.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator until the mixture is slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cherries and pecan meats, then pour into a ring mold.
  6. Allow to set in the refrigerator until firm.
