Ingredients

  • 1 large pine cone
  • peanut butter
  • wild bird seed

Instructions

  1. Gather a large pine cone, peanut butter, wild bird seed, a spoon, and a piece of string.
  2. Use the spoon to spread a generous layer of peanut butter onto the pine cone, making sure to cover all the scales.
  3. Pour the wild bird seed into a shallow dish or plate.
  4. Roll the peanut butter-coated pine cone in the bird seed until well covered.
  5. Tie a piece of string around the top of the pine cone to create a loop for hanging.
  6. Hang the bird feeder on a tree branch or hook outdoors and enjoy watching the birds visit.
