Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits
  • Powdered sugar
  • Green food coloring
  • Maraschino cherries or candied cherries
  • Green decorated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Separate biscuits from two cans of refrigerated biscuits.
  3. Arrange biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet to form a Christmas tree shape: one biscuit at the top, two below, three below that, and four at the base, making two rows of 2, then 3, then 4 biscuits.
  4. Shape the final biscuit into an oval and place it at the center bottom of the base.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While still hot, frost the biscuits with a light green powdered sugar glaze.
  7. Place large maraschino or candied cherries in the hollows where biscuits come together, with cherry halves on the edges and at the peak of the tree.
  8. Sprinkle with green decorated sugar.
