Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. skim milk
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil

Instructions

  1. Mix together flour, milk, and oil until the flour is damp and the mixture is thick but able to be stirred with a fork.
  2. Whip the mixture with a fork for a few seconds.
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead 8 to 10 times or until the dough becomes firm and smooth.
  4. Pat out the dough into a 3/4-inch thickness.
  5. Cut with a biscuit cutter and bake at 400°F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
