Bisquick "Corny" Bread Sticks

Crispy, buttery breadsticks with a sweet corn flavor, perfect as a snack or side dish for family dinners and gatherings. Easy to make with Bisquick and cream-style corn.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 small can cream-style corn
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Mix Bisquick, cream-style corn, and sugar together.
  2. Roll out the dough to medium thickness; it will rise during baking.
  3. Dough will be sticky; sprinkle surface lightly with flour as needed and pat out with hands on a floured surface.
  4. Cut the dough into strips similar to chicken pastry dough.
  5. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large oven roaster or similar pan.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven and lay the strips of dough (about the size of 2 fingers) in the melted butter.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Turn all pieces over and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.
