Blackberry Mush

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 qt. blackberries
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. water

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in saucepan.
  2. Heat to boiling. Stir in blackberries.
  3. Reduce heat, simmer and stir about 5 minutes.
  4. Crush berries.
  5. Blend together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water.
  6. Stir into blackberries.
  7. Heat and stir until thick and clear. Stir in lemon juice.
  8. Let cool.
