Ingredients

  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 to 1 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. sunflower oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup at a time into hot oil.
