Ingredients

  • Water
  • 2 Large Potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Salt

Instructions

  1. Use a two-gallon pot.
  2. Fill the pot three-quarters full with water.
  3. Add two large potatoes and about half a cup of salt to the water.
  4. Bring the water to a boil.
  5. Add a fatty fish such as trout to the boiling water.
  6. Cook until the fish is done, when a fork easily penetrates the flesh.
  7. Season as desired and serve.
