Ingredients

  • 4 lb. oxtails
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the oxtails thoroughly.
  2. Place the oxtails in a boiling pot.
  3. Cover with water and bring to a boil.
  4. Boil for 1 hour.
  5. Add chopped onion, bay leaves, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to the pot.
  6. Continue boiling for another 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
