Ingredients

  • 1 gal. fresh green peanuts
  • water to cover
  • 2 c. salt

Instructions

  1. Wash peanuts and place in a large pot.
  2. Cover with water.
  3. Add salt to the water.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook until the peanuts are tender, about 2 hours.
  5. Let stand in the same water until cool before serving.
