Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup wine (sherry, Port or Madeira)

Instructions

  1. Soak the unflavored gelatin in cold water until softened.
  2. Dissolve sugar in boiling water, then add the softened gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Add the wine and lemon juice to the gelatin mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a mold and refrigerate until set.
