Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb smoked shoulder butt
  • prepared mustard
  • whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Place meat in a deep kettle and cover with water.
  2. Simmer for 60 minutes per pound or until tender.
  3. Remove from water.
  4. Place in a shallow baking pan.
  5. Spread meat with prepared mustard and stud with whole cloves.
  6. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  7. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes or until the meat is glazed.
