Ingredients

  • 4 lb crinkle cut fries
  • 1 bell pepper
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic salt
  • 1 small bottle Italian dressing
  • 1 onion

Instructions

  1. Chill the Italian salad dressing in the refrigerator.
  2. Shake the dressing well and pour it into the bottom of a large iron skillet, covering it with about 1/8 inch of dressing.
  3. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chopped onions, crinkle-cut fries, chopped bell peppers, and seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic salt) to the skillet.
  5. Cover the skillet while cooking and stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  6. Cook until the fries are tender and golden brown.
  7. Remove from heat, sprinkle grated sharp cheese over the top, and let it melt before serving.
