Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage, bacon or ham
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Saute meat and drain excess fat.
  2. Beat eggs, milk and seasonings.
  3. Layer bread cubes, meat and cheese in a 6 x 8-inch shallow pan.
  4. Pour egg mixture over all.
  5. Refrigerate overnight covered with foil.
  6. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
