Sweet and fluffy cinnamon rolls with a cake-like base, filled with cinnamon, sugar, and butter, perfect for breakfast or brunch gatherings with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (9 x 3-inch size)
  • 2 1/2 cups warm water
  • 5 cups flour
  • 2 packages dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients—yellow cake mix, warm water, flour, and dry yeast—in a large pan.
  2. Let the dough rise for 1 hour; stir down and let rise again.
  3. Pour out the dough onto a floured board.
  4. Roll out the dough.
  5. Spread cinnamon, sugar, and butter over the rolled dough.
  6. Roll up the dough, cut into individual rolls, and let them rise again.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 30 minutes.
