Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon white corn syrup
  • 1 cup sliced almonds, pecan pieces or walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a cast-iron skillet, mix sugar, butter, and corn syrup.
  2. Let boil for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add nuts and mix well.
  4. Pour into a platter and let cool.
  5. Break the candy into pieces.
