Broccoli A La Ritz

Creamy broccoli topped with crunchy Ritz cracker crumbs and melted cheese creates a comforting side dish perfect for family dinners or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tube Ritz crackers
  • Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil frozen chopped broccoli as directed on the package.
  2. Drain the broccoli and place it in a casserole dish or rectangular cake pan.
  3. While the broccoli is boiling, melt butter over low heat.
  4. Crumble the Ritz crackers and add them to the melted butter.
  5. Mix thoroughly until combined.
  6. Place slices of Velveeta cheese completely over the broccoli.
  7. Add the cracker crumbs and butter mixture on top of the cheese.
  8. Pat down the topping gently.
  9. Bake in the oven at 350°F for 18 minutes or microwave for 4 minutes before serving.
