Broccoli Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 c. macaroni
  • 10 oz. fresh or frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 1 (15 oz.) can spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. part-skim Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni; drain and set aside.
  2. Microwave (High) broccoli for 7 to 8 minutes; drain and set aside.
  3. Combine cooked macaroni and cottage cheese in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and microwave (High) 3 to 4 minutes; stir once.
  4. Spread evenly in casserole dish.
  5. Top with broccoli, then spaghetti sauce.
  6. Cover and microwave (High) 4 to 5 minutes; turn dish once.
  7. Top with cheese and microwave 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
  8. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serves 5.
