Creamy broccoli rotini combines tender pasta with sautéed vegetables in a buttery garlic sauce, perfect for a comforting family meal with vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 box or bag rainbow rotini
  • 2 bunches broccoli
  • 1 small container fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 bulb garlic
  • garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Cook rotini as directed on the package.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a wok or 5-quart pot.
  4. Add onions, garlic, and sliced mushrooms; sauté until browned.
  5. Add broccoli flowerets and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  6. Pour in the cooked rotini and stir well.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.
  8. Add the half and half and simmer until it thickens, stirring occasionally.
