Broccoli With Chowder Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fresh broccoli or 3 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) New England clam chowder, undiluted
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli in a small amount of boiling salted water until tender; drain well.
  2. Arrange broccoli in a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish; set aside.
  3. Combine chowder, sour cream and salt; mix well.
  4. Spoon over broccoli.
  5. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 2 minutes.
  6. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
