Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. mixed parsley

Instructions

  1. Shape into balls.
  2. Brown in shortening with 1 small garlic clove (minced) in a large skillet.
  3. Blend in the rest of the can of soup.
  4. Add 1 cup water.
  5. Cover; simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
