Instructions
- Cut 12 (12-inch) squares of heavy duty aluminum foil.
- Place an onion, cut side up, in the center of each foil square.
- Dot each onion with margarine; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Wrap each onion well in the foil.
- Place the wrapped onions on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until tender.
- Serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.
